If you tell a lie enough times people will eventually believe it
Until they get programmed against the truth.
So when they hear the truth they will automatically reject it
Because the lie has already taken up residence.
If a lie has taken up residence there is no room for truth. 
In order for anything to be filled it must be empty.

If you are a pastor and you are not teaching people

That you are not to eat pork

Then you are not teaching the truth
